From Direk Joel Lamangan: Illustrious M AY is over! Happy to report to the alumni that everything that was planned to make the May festival memorable were accomplished with flying may colors! Thanks to the untiring support and memorable work of men and women from the alumni officialdom and the sat cruz district zone 2 officials. They indeed showed the true colors of govt service!! Congrats to them.
As planned the alumni wanted to bring back the glory and the fun that May always brings to the residents, activities were lined up with the community and the schools interests were top priority! Feeding programs were put up in the different barangays and the school to help alleviate the nourishment problem of children from our district- it was so successful that we plan to continue the project up to the end of the year!Several good souls from our kababayans here and abroad sponsored the feeding programs in all the barangays
The intra- barangay basketball tournament was revived it was also very successful it brought back memories of the sat cruz all stars the gideons and the jets during the early 70'S and 80"s> it was participated by most barangays of zone 2.Thanks to the untiring barangay captains that saw to it that the affair will be successful!
THE HOLY NAME ASSN. under kapitan weni ronquillo tied up with scesaa for the other activities such as the miss gay earth contest.Kaitan Weni is also a board member of scesaa. We also had a BINGO BONANZA participated very well by the community members raffle and cash prizes were donated by some politicians and members of the community.
THE FLORES THE MAYO with beautiful representatives from various barangays gave a memorable ending to the may fiesta. Pretty ladies paraded the street with their beautiful gowns it was really a night to remember!
