Mission

Sta. Cruz Elem. School Alumni Association (SCESAA) is a non-due paying organization which aim to help fellow alumni and friends stay attached. The organization believes in the power of harmony serving the community through social events like Homecoming, Community Projects such as Feeding Program and Scholarship Program and other pertinent program and services that would promote the pride and excellence for the Sta. Cruz Elementary School, as well as receptive to the community service, and foster relationship in harmony among its members.

Election of Officers for Sta. Cruz Elem. School Alumni Association

This time, a meeting was held to formalize the election of new set of officers of STA. CRUZ ELEM. SCHOOL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION. Mr. Gener Alonzo, presided the meeting furthermore expand the system of the election process.  Present in the meeting were - Kap. Bayani Bilang, Tommy Corpuz, Jon Villete, Kap. Totoy Fernandes, Kag. Ronald Gatchalian, Kap. Eduardo Bidal, Kag. Edmar Cayetano, Kag. Cris Hilario Jr. Reg. Saliva, Augusto Revita Jr., Benjamin Retener Jr., Benjamin Cuan, Herbert Siazon, Francisco Marquez, Emerson Arahan, Felix Lomat, Elmer Samson, Rico Muncal, Sao Caparaz,, Daddie Alonzo, Popoy Elopre, Val Virata, Romeo Noceda, Adora Mendoza, Thess Skidmore, Sohlee Manimbao, Marilyn Cachuela, Dina Feliciano, Kap. Winnie Ronquillo, Oscar Tolentino, Efren Custodio, Arnel Reyes, Lina Pacle, Jasmin Lagac, T, V. Hebreo Jr., Totie Lamangan, Ed Santillan, Gener Alonzo and Direk Joel Lamangan.  

In the course of election process, Direk Joel Lamangan and Mr. Gener Alonzo cleared that only 15  representatives will be selected, in the same way that the highest 15 votes will automatically be a Member of the Board of Directors.  The voting started assisted by two retired teachers, Mrs. Gatbonton and Mrs. Advincula.  Everyone cast their votes and drop into the ballot box.  After a moment of votes count up, official results are presented: -



The election carries on after a welcome lunch was served.  Following continually is the official result of the election of STA. CRUZ ELEM SCHOOL ALUMNI OFFICERS.

Other members will continue in the same position as Members of the Board. 

Elected as President of SCESAA,  Direk Joel Lamangan expresses his personal opinion about the position of Chairman of the Committee on Membership.  He said that it's a big responsibility managing a committee, oversee that the organization sticks to its aims, personal planning to meet on schedule and the voluntary participation of the alumni to join the activities. A cooperative support from Mr. Popoy Elopre was raised to backup the committee with the assistance of Barangay Captains to achieve a common goal. 

Other issues taken:

  1. Official Meeting Schedule every 3rd Sunday of the Month, however, special meeting can be called by the President for important concerns.  The quorum is required of 8 attendance members of the board.
  2. To open a Bank Account for the SCESAA.  
  3. To register the SCESAA at Security Exchange Commission to obtain By-Laws, whilst President Joel Lamangan will appoint the constitutional and legal committee to perform related functions and other issues with respect to the Bylaws.
